8 x 10 gelatin silver print made from an 8 x 10 Kodak safety negative, taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on March 13, 1930. View of the sail of the J Class sloop ENTERPRISE, seen laid out in the Ratsey and Lapthorn sail loft, City Island, NY. Fifty nine people seen posed holding up material along the edge of the sail. ENTERPRISE was a 1930 America's Cup defender. She was designed by Burgess & Morgan and built by Herreshoff in 1930. She measured 121 feet in length. Stamped on back in oval: "MORRIS ROSENFELD / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR / 116 NASSAU ST. N.Y. / Phone Beekman 3-4970". Also stamped: "PLEASE RETURN TO", and "RATSEY & LAPTHORN / CITY ISLAND, N.Y.".
