Image of the crew called the "afterguard" posed on board RANGER, a 135'2" sloop, built as a US America's Cup defender built in 1937 by the Bath Iron Works of Bath, Maine and designed by Starling Burgess with Olin Stephens. View taken on deck aft of Harold Vanderbilt at the wheel with his tactical crew, Olin Stephens, Arthur Knapp, Jr. and Professor Zenas Bliss, the navigator. Neg. sleeve info.: none. Original Box 4360.
