DESCRIPTION SITE :
Special regatta of the Eastern Yacht Club held for yachts of the EYC and NYYC on August 11, 1887. Sachem won this regatta in her class in which also the famous schooner America competed. In the sloop class Puritan came in second behind Volunteer.
