Lipton is considered to be the most tenacious challenger in the history of the
America's Cup. On five unsuccessful occasions over a span of 30 years he tried
to bring the pre-stigious cup home to America. But Lipton was never daunted as
he knew that participation in this most important regatta was excellent
advertising for the tea which carried his name. Our model is the 1st
