Columbia versus Shamrock 1899, is from The Paintings of the America's Cup series. Described at the time as the finest 15 mile run in history - Columbia, New York Yacht Club, versus Shamrock, Royal Ulster Yacht Club. The two yachts swept along under clouds of white sail while spectators watched from their many boats.
