Charles Dixon was the master of creating atmosphere and excitement and this painting is no exception! Titled "Twenty seconds to Go!" it shows the Royal Yacht VICTORIA & ALBERT wearing Court flags and lying to her buoy off the Royal Yacht Sqaadron during Cowes Week in the 1920s/30s with the Big Class in the foreground jockeying for position as they await the final gun to start.
