I usually do not purchase reproductions...but the presence of this oil painting is so wonderful, it is beautifully framed. It will be a most elegant decorative piece in an office or home....for those who enjoy fine things.

A reproduction of America's First Winner Cup....estate said between the Swedish and U.S. teams....see flags (early U.S. and early Swedish flag). I am not sure who it is after as I've done limited research on the work. Fabulously framed and looks even better in real life. This is an original oil on canvas, there is crazing (crackling) which was intended by the reproduction. From a fine midwest. estate....it has a FANTASTIC presence....

If it doesn't sell, I will enjoy it at my summer home.

Condition is excellent, maybe the slightest storage wear/scuffs on the frame but nothing noticeable or worth describing, a tiny chip to the mid-section of frame. A beautiful piece.
