Thomas Sopwith purchased her in 1932, and following several owners and refitting she was acquired by the Lipton Tea Co. in 198. She was donated to the Museum of Yachting in Newport Rhode Island. The International Yacht Restoration School of Newport bought Shamrock V in 1995 and she has participated in several regattas and attended the World Cup in New Zealand.
