Crew of SHAMROCK IV, America's Cup, 1920. Photograph taken in America when the crew went out to join SHAMROCK which had been laid-up for the duration of WW1. Walter Bibby from Tollesbury was a yacht skipper and he also crewed on Shamrock IV in the 1920 America's Cup challenge. He is the third person standing up from the right hand side of the picture. Ted Heard, Mate, is to the right of the lifebuoy. Walter is Peter Bibby's grandfather. [ Peter Bibby ]
