Members of the crew of the 'Endeavour I' hoisting sail as Mr T O M Sopwith's possible America's Cup challenger started out for a trial spin off Newport, Rhode Island. Trials are being held to decide with 'Endeavour I' or 'Endeavour II' shall represent Britain in the competition. 24 June 1937
