Here as promised are photos from Sir Thomas Sopwith’s scrapbook of the launch of his big class yacht Endeavour in 1934. An aviation pioneer, he applied aviation technology when designing her rig and winches. Endeavour is one of the very few big class yachts to survive thanks to Elizabeth Mayer who restored her in 1984. Endeavour is currently on the market for around $20.5m.
