"SHAMROCK V. REACHES AMERICAN SHORES TO PREPARE FOR CHALLENGE RACE"
"NEW LONDON, CONN. - A slim green racing yacht flying the pennant of the Royal Ulster Yacht Club, dropped anchor in the mouth of the Thames, her trim rigging glistening in the warm glow of a perfect summer sunset. It was the Shamrock V., with which Sir Thomas Lipton, the genial British sportman will challenge once more for the historic America's Cup.
Photos shows the crew of the Shamrock as they took in and trimmed sail as she was towed into the Thames.
