A miniature ivory model of the America's Cup defender

the hull of the model is built up in
ivory lifts with a black painted bottom and natural topsides. The deck of the
model fitted with a number of details in baleen, including: spinnaker poles,
deck hatches, boat, companionway, binnacle and wheel and other details. Rigged
with ivory mast and spars, standing and running rigging, and mounted on a bone
veneer base with corner posts and chains and decorated with the New York Yacht
Club burgee painted in polychrome. Surmounting a pair of acrylic cubes within a
circular domed glass case
