DESCRIPTION SITE :

Second America's Cup race between Defender & Valkyrie III, Valkyrie III fouled when her boom struck Defender's starboard topmast shroud and broke it. Valkyrie won by 47 seconds on corrected time, was subsequently protested, and had to give the race to Defender.
