Sir Thomas Lipton a légué sa collection de photographies, de coupures de journaux et des souvenirs à la Mitchell Library où elle est toujours conservée. En 1999, la collection a montré des signes de dégradation et une sauvegarde était nécessaire. Unilever, qui est désormais propriétaire de la marque Lipton, a financé la conservation et la numérisation de la collection.
