Beddows work has been exhibited in numerous galleries including Harrods’s Picture Gallery in London, as well as various Park Street, London galleries. His paintings have had worldwide exposure; his shows in Holland, Bermuda, Canada and the United States sold out regularly. He is regarded as one of the finest contemporary British Marine Artists, and his work is frequently placed in the same shows and category as such British painters as Thomas Hoyne and Frank Wagner to name just a few.

The Royal Society of Marine Arts at the National Maritime Museum in London is currently mounting a show of America’s Cup races, and the New York Yacht Club is in negotiations to bring the show to the U.S. This, along with Mr. Beddows recent death, is expected to bring renewed interest in his work. The price and value of Mr. Beddows paintings will undoubtedly rise accordingly. For an investor and collector it is a rare opportunity to purchase work before the artist’s prices catch up to his status.
